About

An independent site for Brits who bet on football from abroad

FBodds exists because moving abroad quietly breaks the way most British football fans bet, and the information about what to do next is scattered across forums and fine print.

What we do

We research which bookmakers genuinely serve British expats: who holds real licences, who pays out without drama, and who offers proper value to a new customer. Then we publish the shortlist and the guides we wish someone had handed us at the airport. We are not a bookmaker, we take no bets, and we hold no player funds.

How this site is funded

FBodds is funded by affiliate commissions. When you open an account with a bookmaker through one of our links, that bookmaker pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

Three rules keep that honest. Commissions never buy a ranking: our list order reflects our own licence, payout and value tests, and a bookmaker that fails them isn’t listed at any price. We mark affiliate links with a disclosure line on every page that carries them. And we never present betting as a way to make money; it’s entertainment with a cost, which is why help resources appear on every page.

Editorial rules

Every factual claim about licensing, availability or account terms is checked against the operator’s own published terms or the regulator’s register at the time of writing, and dated. When things change, and in this industry they change constantly, we update the page or say plainly that we haven’t verified it recently. We don’t copy bookmaker marketing into our own voice, and we say who a product is wrong for, not just who it suits. Where the site shows sample data while a live feature is in the workshop, it says so on the page.
